Study Spaces and Classrooms
Group Study Rooms
In addition to the study carrels and tables throughout the library, a limited number
of group study rooms are available for students to use. Students who wish to use
group study rooms must check them out at the second floor Circulation Desk on a
first-come, first-served basis.
Reading Porch
For those who prefer an outdoor atmosphere for study, a reading porch
is located just outside the second floor.
The duPont Classroom
The Jessie Ball duPont classroom is reserved for use by faculty and students
wishing to present media formats. The classroom seats up to sixty people and is
equipped with:
- Proxima 6860 projector
- 4 wall-mounted speakers
- DVD player (professional quality)
- Worldwide VCR
- Satellite television input
- Cable television input
- PC computer with wireless keyboard and mouse
- Digital visual presenter
- Receiver/amplifier
- Wacom interactive writing tablet
- White boards
- Projection screen
- Crestron control system
Viewing Rooms
Several rooms are available for viewing VHS and DVD formats in the Fuqua
Center.
A priority system is in place to meet academic needs first and
recreational users second.
Computer Use Area
Computers for patron use are available on the first, second, and third
floors.
