Summer College 2008
June 6-8, 2008
No matter what causes global warming, we must now rethink our approach to
development in order to protect both our economy and the environment.
Come to the 2008 Summer College to learn how we can adapt our attitudes
and lifestyles.
The Summer College runs June 6-8 on Hampden-Sydney’s campus and will
feature popular professors Dr. Kenneth Townsend and Dr. Saranna Thornton,
as well as experts from industry, government, and research institutions. Panels
and participants will concentrate on the whole theory of global warming,
on its implications, and on what we can do to live with it creatively, without
hindering progress or comfort.
