High School: Attended the Miller School in nearby Charlottesville... Played basketball for two years under coach Fred Wawner... Led the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 17.2 points and nine rebounds during senior season... Was named All-State, team MVP, and was a member of the Final Four State Tournament team... Also played soccer and ran cross country at Miller School.
