WES DODSON JOINS TIGER FOOTBALL COACHING STAFF

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (March 12, 2007)—Hampden-Sydney College Head Football Coach Marty Favret announced today the addition of Wes Dodson to the Tiger football coaching staff.  Dodson joins the Hampden-Sydney football program from The College of William and Mary, where he was an assistant defensive coach, working primarily with the safeties. 

While at William and Mary, Dodson also worked with the special teams, including the punt teams and kickoff coverage units.  Before his stint as an assistant coach at William and Mary, Dodson served as a graduate assistant at Western Michigan University.  He was an assistant with the offense in 2002-2003 and assistant with the defense in 2004.

Dodson is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where he was a four-year letter winner.  Dodson will serve as the secondary coach for the Tigers.
