HARRINGTON AND JENNINGS PICKED FOR NORTH/SOUTH ALL-STAR GAME, ROSTAN AND STAFF TO COACH SOUTH

BALTIMORE, MD (May 22, 2007)—Hampden-Sydney seniors Thomas Jennings (Murfreesboro, TN/Webb School) and Ryan Harrington (Dallas, TX/Plano) have been selected to participate in the 2007 USILA Division III North-South Classic. The Classic features the top seniors in collegiate lacrosse, consisting of a Division III game, followed by a Division I-II game. Coaching the Division III South team will be a trio of Tiger coaches, including Ray Rostan, Jay Rostan, and Vince Smith. This season, the contests will take place on Friday, May 25, at Calvert Hall in Baltimore, MD. The Division III contest is set to start at 4:00 pm, while the Division I-II game is set for 5:45 pm.

This season, Harrington led the Tigers with 34 goals and 43 points. Harrington's nine assists placed him fourth on the team. Harrington was honored as a 2007 team captain and earned first team All-ODAC accolades. Jennings finished his 2007 campaign with 28 goals and 11 assists, including four game-winning goals. Jennings earned second team All-ODAC honors.
