HARRINGTON INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN 2007 WARRIOR MAJOR LEAGUE SENIOR CHALLENGE

BOSTON, MA (May 8, 2007)—Hampden-Sydney senior midfielder Ryan Harrington (Dallas, TX/Plano) has been selected to participate in the 2007 Warrior Major League Lacrosse Senior Challenge on May 31, 2007 at Stony Brook University in New York. At the challenge, the top 40 seniors in collegiate lacrosse (Division I-Division III) will participate in an exhibition, followed by the 2007 MLL Draft. Harrington becomes the first Tiger to participate in the challenge since its inception nearly seven years ago.

This season, Harrington led the Tigers with 34 goals and 43 points. Harrington's nine assists placed him fourth on the team. Harrington was honored as a 2007 team captain and helped lead the Tigers to a 12-3 overall record. For his career, Harrington has notched 67 goals and 19 assists.
