DUNN AND PRITZLAFF HONORED AS USILA ALL-AMERICANS

Senior standouts represent South in annual USILA North-South All-Star Game

(June 19, 2008) PERRY, NY - Hampden-Sydney senior defensemen Colin Dunn (Chevy Chase, MD/Trinity Pawling) and Alex Pritzlaff (Castle Rock, CO/Kent Denver) were named third team All-America by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association according to the teams released by the organization yesterday.

In addition to their All-America selections, the first team All-ODAC and first team all-state picks were also selected to represent the South in the annual USILA Division III North-South Senior All-Star Game held on May 23 at Harvard Stadium in Boston, MA.

A four-time first team All-ODAC performer, three-time all-state selection and three-time Face-Off Magazine Preseason All-American, Dunn secured his second consecutive third team USILA All-America honor after compiling another tremendous season. Dunn tied a career-high by netting five goals and set a new personal standard for assists with four. An aggressive and speedy defender, Dunn also scooped a team-high 66 ground balls on the season.

Pritzlaff earned USILA All-America honors in 2007 as well, being named to the honorable mention squad before garnering third team honors this season. A two-time first team all-state pick and Face-Off Magazine Preseason All-American, Pritzlaff ended his career in style, scoring one goal, picking up a career-best 46 ground balls and consistently marking the opposing team's quickest attackman.
