MOSS NAMED ODAC PLAYER AND ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, MCLEOD EARNS HONORABLE MENTION HONORS

SALEM, VA (April 23, 2007)—Hampden-Sydney freshman William Moss (Fredericksburg, VA/Fredericksburg) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tennis Player and Rookie of the Year.  Moss earns the honors after going 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the conference in #1 singles.  Moss and freshman Richie Holzapfel (Hagerstown, MD/St. Maria Goretti) earned second team All-ODAC honors in doubles, while junior Andrew McLeod (Mandeville, Jamaica/Manchester) earned honorable mention honors in singles.

Moss and Holzapfel finished the season with a 9-5 overall record and 5-3 mark in the conference in #1 doubles.  McLeod earns honorable mention honors after posting an 8-6 mark overall and 6-3 record in the ODAC in singles competition.
