to numerous online pamphlets on a vast array of mental health topics of
particular relevance to
college students. The pamphlets have been published online by various college and university
counseling centers around the country. There are links to many excellent self-help documents.
Mental Health America offers a special section on
depression among college students. The site includes a list of symptoms for
depression and anxiety and where to go for help.
The
National Institute
of Mental Health is the largest scientific organization in the world
dedicated to research focused on the understanding, treatment, and prevention of
mental disorders and the promotion of mental health. Psych Central
is the Internet's largest and oldest independent mental health social network,
created by Dr. John Grohol and run by mental health professionals to guarantee
reliable, trusted information and support communities to consumers. An excellent resource for anyone interested in a variety
of mental health topics--readable, accurate, and up-to-date material.
