     The Student Development Committee (SDC), is a unique committee of student leaders committed to the success of Hampden-Sydney College. Student members serve as ambassadors of the College and have unique opportunities to network with the College’s Alumni at various events on and off campus.

The SDC had a record fall phone-a-thon season, raising over $80,000 for Hampden-Sydney's Annual Fund.

     The SDC works closely with professional staff in the Office of Institutional Advancement to meet the goals of both fundraising and “friend raising.” Our student members are leaders on campus and care about the future of the College.
